T he Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft operates Representative Offices in the Asian locations China, Indonesia, Korea and Japan. The Representative Offices form a bridge between the local Asian markets and the Fraunhofer Institutes. They focus their activities on marketing and business expansion. The Offices represent the entire range of consulting, research and development services available through all Fraunhofer Institutes including:

• Problem analyses and market assessment
• Optimization of products and processes
• Support with the introduction of new technologies and organizational forms  

The Representative Offices provide customers with a one-stop contact to the entire range of expertise available through all Fraunhofer Institutes in Germany. In India and Malaysia are Fraunhofer Senior Advisors located.
