The results of Fraunhofer studies contribute to all areas of medical, environmental and nutrition research, helping to improve patients’ health and, ultimately, working toward the reduction of costs for the healthcare system. Seven Fraunhofer institutes have joined to form the Life Sciences Alliance, synergizing their competencies in the biosciences.
