Quantum computers may break established cryptographic procedures and protocols in the near future. This poses a major challenge to our competitiveness and technological sovereignty. In order to be prepared for this, the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied and Integrated Security AISEC runs the Competence Center for Post-Quantum Cryptography. The aim is to implement post-quantum cryptographic solutions as quickly as possible. With the annual network event "PQC Update", Fraunhofer AISEC brings together researchers, users, providers and regulators on the topic of post-quantum cryptography. On May 13 and 14, 2024, you can enjoy an exciting agenda on the development of quantum computers, their impact on cybersecurity and the transition to quantum-resistant cryptographic methods.
