The principle of the 3Rs aims to replace, reduce and consistently refine animal experiments. What models, platforms or innovative technologies already exist in infection research and immunology? What are the prospects for improving animal testing and what new approaches could be promising?

We will address these and other questions about alternative methods to animal testing at our one-day workshop on June 11, 2024.

We invite you to join us for a scientific discourse on alternatives to animal testing in research.

Sessions: 

• Innovative technologies in infectious and immunology research
• Advanced models and platforms in biomedical research and for risk assessment
• New approaches and perspectives for the refinement of animal experiments

In addition to these sessions with oral presentations, there will be a poster session which is open for submissions. Do you have a topic that you would like to present at the workshop? Then please submit an abstract for a poster presentation by May 15, 2024. Find out more on the workshop website.
