Fraunhofer Group for Resource Technologies and Bioeconomy VRB

The Fraunhofer Group for Resource Technologies and Bioeconomy VRB (Fraunhofer VRB) pools the expertise, know-how and technical infrastructure of its four member institutes, Fraunhofer IGB, IME, IVV and UMSICHT, as well as the two guest institutes Fraunhofer IAP and IWKS. It develops solutions for resource efficiency, the bioeconomy, the circular economy and the sovereignty of value creation cycles.

Our vision is to become a system partner that enables a sustainable resource economy and a healthy environment.
