Empowerment means bringing change to the research sector.
Female expertise is unfortunately still underrepresented in research, science in general and management positions. Women’s creative and innovative potential goes unused much too often. For a gender-inclusive working world, it is imperative to increase women’s representation in science and positions of leadership.
At Fraunhofer, we believe we have an active role to play in shaping these processes of change.
Our goal is to get women excited not just about doing a doctorate and starting their career journey at our institutes but for STEM professions and leadership in general — and to do so early on. That’s why we have various recruiting measures to offer next-generation female talent (especially leadership talent) a wide range of options for mapping out their studies and careers. Change starts with us.
