Welcome to the Fraunhofer Website for Laser World of Photonics 2025 in Munich!

Where to find us:

Hall A1, Booth 439, Quantum Future Boulevard

The World of Quantum focuses on quantum technology innovations: from a quantum magnetometer based on NV centers in diamond for measuring the smallest magnetic fields to a noise-free quantum frequency converter and a space-qualified photon source for secure communication  up to photonic quantum chips for quantum computing. At the Quantum Zoo QC demonstrator, visitors can program simple quantum circuits and learn about basic concepts of quantum mechanics.

Hall A2, Booth 415

From growing and processing crystals, new high-performance laser fibers and optical coatings in unusual spectral ranges up to dummy production systems  here we cover everything about optical technologies for the sovereign production of powerful lasers. We are also showcasing new microdisplays and an EUV microscope for lensless imaging.

Hall A3, Booth 431

Are you interested in practical laser use? We are presenting new tools and methods for laser material deposition, cutting, microstructuring and coating as well as lidar  for battery and automotive production, lightweight construction, additive manufacturing, hydrogen production and nuclear fusion.

Visit us at our booths and talk to our research colleagues on site. See you in Munich!
