Be the change
- You will get to know the basics of office management while also gaining in-depth insight into various departments, such as Corporate Procurement, Research Buildings, Accounting, Financial Management and Project Finances.
- You will support the specialist departments from the initial purchase requisition through the purchasing process and all the way to invoice verification and payment, cutting across all of the related subjects: advertising materials, services, lab equipment and building projects.
- You will learn smart ways to plan and manage your tasks, from arranging for meetings with your colleagues to working on projects.
- You will work independently and in a position of responsibility as part of a team.
- You will use state-of-the-art technology (laptop, iPad, SAP and more) on site, virtually and in hybrid arrangements.
Minimum qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a general secondary school diploma (Mittlerer Schulabschluss (or equivalent) if obtained in the German system) or higher education entrance qualification (Abitur or Fachhochschulreife if obtained in the German system), with an average grade of Good to Very Good. We’re open to different paths!
- Enjoy working with numbers, on business administration topics, and have good analytical skills.
- Interest in finance- and figures-oriented business units such as purchasing and management accounting.
- Proficiency with computers and standard programs (such as MS Office).
- Meticulous working style and interest in learning new things as part of an exciting vocational training program.
