Software Optimization

The ZAQC at Fraunhofer IGD investigates how quantum algorithms can be implemented efficiently on different quantum computing architectures and how software components can be reused across technologies. Fraunhofer IGD contributes its expertise in heterogeneous computing and the use of coprocessors to develop suitable software concepts. One example is the open-source Python package trainsum, which supports the use of quantics tensor trains.
