The Engineering Automation Performance Center in the East Westphalia-Lippe region brings artificial intelligence and scalable automation solutions specifically to engineering. The aim is to increase efficiency and create more freedom for creative engineering work. Our goal: to shorten development times, increase productivity, and open up new paths to innovation – in line with our motto Automate. Accelerate. Innovate.
Areas of application include automated requirements capture, the generation of consistent architectures, intelligent data migration, digital twins, code generation for robot systems, and the semi-automated planning of production systems. The perspective ranges from the targeted automation of individual steps with generative AI to the vision of semi-autonomous systems:
- Engineering copilots: AI-supported assistance systems for design, analysis, and decision-making
- Agent systems: End-to-end automation across the development process and lifecycle
- AI in engineering IT: Seamlessly integrated into tool chains and digital backbone systems
We act as a partner to companies along the entire value chain. We offer workshops, use case analyses, proof of concepts, demos in the SmartFactoryOWL, training courses, and the GenAI Incubator. In development projects, we develop tailor-made solutions for the use of AI in engineering. In this way, we accompany the journey from the initial potential analysis to a scalable AI solution in operation.
