International Focus

The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft is a research organization with an open, international mindset. It creates a working environment where people from different cultural contexts work together, learn from each other and can grow and evolve. 

People from countries other than Germany currently make up about 15% of the workforce at Fraunhofer. A special English-language welcome brochure for international employees (“Welcome to Fraunhofer”) and HR documents that are also available in English help smooth the onboarding process for new employees and ease their integration at the institutes.
